Meet the maker

Hello! I'm Anna, a 23-year-old living in rural Devon with my parents and my two cats, Mystic and Poppy. I have a strong passion for creating and a keen eye for bright colors. In my spare time, I hit the gym, enjoy quality time with my cats, experiment with hair dye, and craft unique items for my shop. I proudly identify as a lesbian and use she/they pronouns.

The name "Sweetpea & Sage" is inspired by my Nan's passion for all things floral and my first cat Sage, who was Mystic's sister and tragically lost her life in 2023. After breaking my leg in May 2023, I decided to pivot my business towards LGBT products, and by early 2024, we honed in on creating products specifically for the lesbian community. During our time at pride as a trader, I recognized a significant gap in lesbian representation at stalls. This realization led to the creation of "The Lesbian Tent," which we proudly incorporate into our brand.
